Winking Willy and his team attempts to ensure you have a pleasant experience when visiting us in Scarborough and therefore we hope this page will be of assistance to you.

For our little visitors we have a Kids Menu, High Chairs, Changing Facilities and for your convenience we have designated Buggy Park where we ask you to place your Buggies (Please Note we are a very old building and space is limited and tight, therefore we cannot accommodate Buggies in the aisles and gangways.) (This is necessary for the protection and safety of you, your children and other guests so PLEASE be considerate and use the Park.)

Toilets and Changing Facilities are located on the First Floor in both the Ladies and Gentleman’s Toilets.

Our normal Summer Opening Times for the Café are Monday – Sunday From 11.30am until 8.00pm. The Take-Away is 11.30am until 10.00pm. (Please note we have seasonal variations -please use drop down tab for this weeks Opening Times)

Car parking is situated near by on Eastborough, The West Pier and Quay Street. On street parking is available out of season. HOWEVER BE AWARE Scarborough Borough Council have a VICIOUS, AGGRESSIVE and VINDICTIVE approach to Parking Enforcement, check the kerbside signs. There is a Drop Off Point opposite us in front of The Tourist Information Centre. 

We do not used mechanical sourced meat products, all our chicken products are breast meats and traceable, as is our beef products.

The majority (95%) of our fish is sustainable, locally sourced and fresh from the Fish Market opposite our premises, however on occasions due to “inclement weather“ and boats not able to land, we reserve the right to serve high quality “fresh frozen at sea products”. We fry in beef dripping and serve our fish traditionally with the skin on, this is for both the health benefits (See Healthy Stuff tab) and identification purposes, we do not sell unidentifiable species or use erroneous terminology of “White Fish” in our menus, Willy does what he says he does.

For those wishing for a little libation we have a selection of Bottle Beers, Ciders and Wines, also fresh Juices are available. We have an external Licensed seating area on our balcony which is very pleasant and is a Designated Adult Only (minimum age 16yrs) however, the use of this area is weather dependant.

All Major Credit and Debit Cards are accepted in the Café.
